Manslaughter in US Coalfields

Coal is the backbone of the US economy. As a side effect, on average, three workers per day have died over the last century due to accidents in coalfields throughout the country. They add to the death toll caused by black lung disease.

The last Coal Mine disaster in West Virginia imposes some considerations:
